Gilda Odera appointed Vice Chairperson of Salaries and Remuneration Commission.

Dr. Gilda Odera was on Friday 31st January 2025 appointed as the vice chairperson of Salaries and Remuneration Commission.

Pursuant to Article 250 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, the Chairperson and Members of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) appointed Dr. Gilda Odera as the Vice Chairperson of SRC.

 Dr. Odera, who is the nominee representing the Federation of Kenya Employers, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Nairobi, a Master of Arts Degree in Leading Innovation and Change from the University of York St. John in the United Kingdom, and a PhD in Public Policy and Administration, specialising in Leadership and Management.

She has cumulative work experience of more than 30 years serving in senior management as chief executive and a board director.

Prior to her current role, Dr. Odera served as the first female National President of the Federation of Kenya Employers.

The Commission  congratulated Dr. Odera on her appointment as the Vice Chairperson of SRC and wished her success as she undertakes her roles.
