The national government through the Ministry of Education is set to construct a new school complex and a modern library at Kapsisiywa secondary school in honor of marathon legend Eliud Kipchoge at an estimated cost of Kshs 100 million.
Speaking at Kapsisiywa secondary school in Chesumei, Nandi County, Education CS Prof. George Magoha confirmed the government is set to construct a modern library facility for the school, as part of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s initiative. CS Magoha who was accompanied by Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang said the ground breaking for the project will be done soon so that the work can commence and that the President will be opening the library in six months time.
The leaders said marking of KCSE exams will commence next week after the exam’s completion and assured parents that the results will be released before Christmas. They said parents should allow their children to score results which are honest and truthful, minus any cheating.
