Governor Kenneth Lusaka today toured the ongoing construction of the Sh82 million modern outpatient complex at Webuye County Hospital.
The two-storey building, aimed at strengthening healthcare services in the county, will feature key units such as an emergency department, CT scan facilities, a doctors’ plaza, and other specialized service areas.

During the site visit, Governor Lusaka expressed satisfaction with the construction progress, noting that the new facility will reduce the need for residents to travel outside the county for specialized treatment.
“This facility will transform healthcare for our people. It will ease overcrowding and bring essential services closer to the community,” said Lusaka.
Set to be completed within the next 18 months, the complex is expected to decongest the existing hospital and improve access to quality medical care for residents.
