The bail application for Migori Governor Okoth Obado will be heard on Friday, according to the High Court. Obado’s case in the murder of the late Sharon Otieno has been consolidated with that of his PA Micheal Oyamo and County Clerk Caspal Obiero.
The three appeared before Justice Jessie Lessit at the Milimani Law Courts on Monday and were charged with two counts of murdering Sharon and her unborn baby. They denied the charges and will remain in remand custody, pending the hearing on Friday.
Last week, the Migori Governor, who has been in remand at the Industrial Area, Nairobi, was taken to Kenyatta National Hospital after he complained of stomach complications
