Nandi Governor Stephen Sang has affirmed his commitment to nurtuting and developing sports and talents in the County. Speaking during the 12th edition of Kass Marathon in Kapsabet, Governor Sang said that his administration through the Ministry of Sports is committed to promoting talents and urged youths to exploit the opportunities for their future benefit.
Sang revealed that his government is working on the face lift of Kipchoge Keino stadium in Kapsabet. He added that the construction of an ultramodern arena with a 30,000 seater capacity, a modern football pitch, synthetic track and state of the art gymnasium have been completed together with a perimeter wall and what remains is the laying of the synthetic track.
The Governor also highlighted the sports complex in honor of Eliud Kipchoge that is almost complete in Kapsabet, noting that it will help talented and upcoming talented youths.
