Vihiga Governor Dr. Wilber Ottichilo has cautioned individuals being vaccinated against Covid-19 to continue adhering to the Ministry of health protocols to avert the spread of the virus.
Speaking after receiving the jab at Vihiga County Referral Hospital, the County Boss noted that vaccination is not the end of the spread of the virus and any one can contract the decease.
He said all Health workers, Security officers and Teachers will be given first priority, adding that the exercise will be carried in all Sub County Hospitals across the County.
Residents have also been advised to follow the laid down rules to control the spread of the decease.
