JSS teachers demonstrate at Kitale town calling upon the government to confirm them to permanent and pensionable terms.
They have also raised concerns over the salary that they are paid by the government of kshs.17,000 claiming its not sufficient to cater for their welfare noting that they are not ready to go to classes if at all their grievances will not be addressed by their employer -TSC
They noted that following the court ruling that pronounced the teacher internship program as illegal, they now want the government to offer them permanent and pensionable terms as they have worked for more than a year on contract terms.
