President Uhuru Kenyatta has called on Kenyans to support move the of Jubilee affiliate parties to come together and form one political out fit in the readiness for 2017 elections.
Speaking at Kapsait in West Pokot County during the unveiling of a ten billion water project, Kenyatta has retaliated that it is only through the merger of the affiliate parties of the Jubilee Alliance Coalition that will help to spur democracy among the affiliate parties.

“We want to dissolve our parties into one party under the name of Jubilee Alliance Party so that me and my deputy use it as the 2017 campaigning vehicle in my second term bid.” He said.
He further added that the merger will bring together the manifestos of the various parties that are under the coalition adding that it will be a major boost to democracy among the members of the coalition.
“For now we are working with different manifesto from the individual parties and the dissolution will bring about the merger of all the manifestos so as to bring harmony in the working of my government.”
The president further noted that his government was determined to give Kenyans quality services in spite of the hurdles it faces in executing its services.
“My government is determined in giving Kenyans quality services, in spite of the many hurdles we are passing through as government, we urge all Kenyans to support us in our endeavors.” Kenyatta said.
The president further urged the locals to stop retrogressive practices and embrace modern practices to see the development of the county.
“We want you develop our county, my government has outlined in its manifesto many development projects and you the locals of this county are our development agenda.” He added.

“The merger of our parties into one political party will be a shame to those who claim that the jubilee collation will break before the 2017 polls as it will show them that we are democratic.” Ruto said.
On claims by a section of opposition leaders that the Jubilee government is in the brink of failing, Ruto assured Kenyans that the government was steady terming the claims ‘a ploy of the opposition to get into power.’
“The Jubilee administration is stable unlike what some quarters of opposition leaders are propagating that we are leading the nation into a failed state let them be prepared for a shock.” The deputy president added.
