Busia First Lady Judy Ojaamong’s brief speech during the Mashujaa Day fete at Funyula Stadium yesterday excited county residents.
Funyula MP Paul Otuoma shook hands with Judy to show his appreciation for her candid speech which captured the mood of those in attendance.
Judy who was given an opportunity to make her brief remarks said her role as a mother is to welcome Otuoma and other leaders who are her sons without discrimination.
“I don’t want my children to start fighting considering the consequences of such actions. I want my children to live in peace and not engage in unwarranted confrontations,” she said.
Otuoma told the Governor he was in the race for the gubernatorial seat and that they would face off in the ODM primaries.
Ojaamong welcomed Otuoma saying he was not scared of his entry into the race on ODM ticket.
