“I take this chance to appreciate Syoya members for accepting to be part of us, therefore I urge all listeners and viewers who are not yet in our clubs to hurry and join so that they may realize the need of being in salaams clubs. We thank West Media Company for bringing us together because of development,” said Wanyama.
Bungoma South Administrator Meshack Wafula alias Operator Meshack wa Lunao thanked West Media Company for being present whenever they hold different events as he urged Syoya members to co-operate with the existing groups in the Umbrella and emphasized on the unity of development purposes.
“I thank West Media for standing with us whenever we need them, I urge Syoya members to be on the forefront so that we may attain our purpose of coming together,” stated Wafula
Lucas Welengai, the chairperson of Syoya Oasis Salaams club, appreciated West Media and Bungoma Umbrella for joining them in the launch as he advised his members to support projects being initiated by the County.
“I want to thank West Media and Bungoma Umbrella for coming here in Syoya to launch our club; I would like also to thank Bungoma South members for making it up here in this auspicious ceremony. To my members it is my plea that we remain united and work towards achieving our set goals and support the projects being undertaken by the county,” said Welengai.
West Media was represented by Dalmus Sakali who revealed the dedication the company has to its listeners and viewers and he urged them to strongly remain united as it is the only way that they can attain development that will enable them reduce poverty among them. “West Media is in the grassroots, we are continuing registering and launching fan clubs in the whole region of Western and North Rift. We are urging our members to remain united, to work together because there is power in unity. We have sacrificed to bring our people together for their own good,” affirmed Sakali.
However, Kabula Member of County Assembly who was in attendance lauded the move that Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa took for announcing himself as Bungoma County Jubilee Party chairperson as he exposed weaknesses of Sirisia Mp John Waluke in the party.
“Recently, we held a Jubilee’s party meeting in one hotel in Bungoma town; we had Jubilee leaders and members. Since we were elected we have never held any meeting that is why we decided to choose Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa to be the chairperson of our party. The main reason was that the party has been in a state of slumber, even as an MCA there is no time I have met with the party’s leaders. I’m sure we have revived the party till March next year when we shall have elections,” said Wangila.
