Kakamega administrators urged to serve diligently in pass out ceremony

Kakamega County witnessed a pass out of 400 Community Administrators who will serve at the community level under the ward administrators. In a colourful ceremony presided over by the Governor Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya at Bukhungu stadium in Kakamega, he said the administrators were recruited through a lengthy and competitive process devoid of political interference or any other related factors.

He called on them to diligently serve the County Government of Kakamega in accordance with the supreme law of the land, the Kenyan Constitution. “I urge you to be good ambassadors of my administration and internalize the important operational documents in┬áplace such as the 2017-2022 manifesto, County Government Act 2012, County Integrated Development Plan 2018-22 and the Annual Development Plan,” he said.

The Governor reminded the recruits that they will be the direct link between the County government and the residents at the grassroots level. In attendance were CECs, Chief Officers, Members of the County Assembly, Advisors in the office of the Governor, Directors and other senior government officers among other leaders.
