On Tuesday morning, CS Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government, Dr. Fred Matiang’i, in the company of North Eastern Regional Commissioner Mohammed Birik, witnessed the opening of the KCPE exam container at Sankuri Division in Garissa before visiting several schools, including Sankuri and Garissa primary schools.
The PS Dr. Karanja Kibicho on the other hand, joined Meru County Commissioner, Wilfred Nyagwanga to kick off the distribution of KCPE exam papers to 931 exam centers in Imenti North, which has 3,311 registered candidates.
The PS later paid a visit to Fred’s Academy and Gichunge Primary School and wished the students success in their exams.
The Ministry affirmed that in conjunction with all Education stakeholders, it would see to it that there are zero cases of cheating & all students receive their deserved results.
In Kakamega county, the the education PS Belio Kipsang officially opened the container outside the County Commissioner’s office at exactly 5.00 am.
Kipsang assured all the KCPE candidates of enough space for each one of them to join secondary schools next year.
He also assured of enough security during the exam period.
Kipsang later visited St. Ann Primary School in Lubao then later Kakamega primary school where he wished the candidates success.
