The Kenya Defence Forces is set to a fresh recruitment exercise, starting on October 28th recruit the General Service Officers(GSO) cadets, specialist officers, general duty recruits, pharmacists, medical officers, nursing officers, dentists, lab technologists, technicians among others. The recruitment exercise in Nandi will commence on 30th October in Nandi.
Prospective candidates willing to join the KDF must meet the conditions and academic qualifications, they include-Be a Kenyan citizen with no dual citizenship, be in possession of a valid Kenyan National Identity card, aged between 18 and 26 years old for General service officers, cadets, general duty recruits. Candidates should be physically and medically fit in accordance with the KDF standards, have no criminal records, minimum height for men should be 1.60 M(5 ft 3 inches) and for women 1.52 M(5 ft) while the minimum weight for men should be 54.55 kg and for women 50.00 kg.
Female candidates must not be expectant at the time of recruitment and during the entire period of training. Youths in Nandi interested to join the force are expected to turn up in large numbers on 30th to try their chance.
