The entire Kenya Kwanza brigade led by the Deputy President Dr. William Ruto today will visit North Rift region for the vote hunt on the final touches campaigns ahead of the 9th August polls.
Ruto will kick start his campaign tour in Nandi County whereby he will be traversing the remaining five constituencies of Tindiret, Aldai, Emgwen, Chesumei and Mosop respectively in a bid to woo the region.
Thereafter will conduct a major rally in Kapsabet town where they will converge to rally the electorates vote them in.
Ruto and his team had visited Nandi on Monday specifically Nandi Hills constituency to urge electorates to vote in the UDA candidates in the coming General Elections and live out independent candidates on ground that they do not belong to any party.
A section of Nandi residents have asked him to seek votes and leave the public to make their own choice on who to elect on other seats saying that they have unanimously agreed to vote for him at the top as the President.
“We have unanimously agreed as Nandi electorates to vote William Ruto as the President thus he has to leave us alone to decide on which leaders to choose at the County level not to dictate for us.” They said.
Nandi County has majority of independent candidates right from the MCA seat to the Governors seat a situation which has posed a threat to the UDA candidates
