427 people have tested positive for the virus, from a sample size of 7,593 tested in the last 24 hours. Kenya’s cases have now reached 95,195. The cumulative tests are now 1,021,880.
286 patients have recovered from the disease, 228 being from the Home-Based Care Program, while 58 have been discharged from various hospitals. The total recoveries now stand at 76,508.
1 patient has succumbed to the disease bringing the cumulative fatalities to 1,648. Currently, there are 789 patients admitted in various health facilities countrywide and 3,705 on Home Based Isolation and Care.
43 patients are in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 20 of whom are on ventilatory support, and 21 on supplemental oxygen, while 2 are on observation. Another 29 patients are separately on supplementary oxygen, out of whom 24 are general wards and 5 are in the High Dependency Unit (HDU).
