As the government continues to put in place financial muscles and scale up measures in the fight against COVID-19, the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) has donated health equipment worth Kshs 33 million. The donation which was given to the Health CAS Rashid Aman included two buses from the Isuzu East Africa, two fluid boiling machine from Prosel Company to help in service delivery to the health workers, thirty five thousand surgery masks to be used by health workers at Mbagathi hospital and Kenyatta University hospital for research and referral. The two hospitals were prioritized since they are receiving a large number of Covid-19 cases.
KEPSA official Martha Cheruto lauded the close partnership between the government and the private sector during the Covid-19 pandemic. On his part, Health CAS Rashid Aman extended a hand of appreciation to KEPSA and he said the government will continue working with private sectors in the national building process.
