The price of Kerosene and Diesel have reduced in the latest Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority review, while the price of Super Petrol has increased. The price of Kerosene has reduced by Kshs 2.31 and the price of Diesel has reduced b y Kshs 0.88, and Kerosene will retail at Kshs 101.97, Diesel will retail at Kshs 103.88 and Petrol will retail at Kshs 115.39.
The EPRA has attributed the reduction of prices to the landed cost of imported Super Petrol reducing to US$528.26 per cubic meter in June from US$538.08 per cubic meter in May. Landed cost of imported Kerosene reduced from US$532.89 to US$503.63 per cubic metre, while the landed cost of imported Diesel reduced from US$535.84 per cubic metre to US$519.39 per cubic metre.
