Ford Kenya Party Secretary-General Dr. Eseli Simiyu has condemned Boni Khalwale’s decision to ditch Ford Kenya and join Jubilee, saying Khalwale has shown his selfish ambitions and doesn’t have the interests of the Luhya community at heart.

Addressing mourners in Namunyiri Soysambu during the burial of the father to Kongoni ward MCA Josephat Mwasame-who is also a member of Mirembe West Fm Salaams club-Mzee Richard Mwasame Kititi, Eseli said Ford Kenya party is strong and they don’t regret on the move that Khalwalwe has taken.

The Tongaren MP said Khalwale had already been summoned by the party, “He was facing disciplinary action, we had summoned him for supporting DP Ruto who is not in our party. Eventually, you have come out with your true colours,” he said, “That’s good riddance.”

Chris Nyongesa, chairman for Kakamega Umbrella fans revealed that his leadership of the Umbrella is meant to ensure all West media fans are registered in Salaams Clubs so that they raise their living standards through the projects they undertake. “As a chairman I am trying to bring our fans together and ensure that all are registered so that we may try and change our lives through projects that we initiate,” said Nyongesa.

He thanked West Media and his other friends for being close to him when his father passed on. “Our father loved his family and all people who he came across, he too loved his church that is why you are all seeing his service the way it is. We tried saving his life but God saw it better to call him home. Therefore we thank Him for the time we shared and had with him while he was still alive,” stated Mwasame.

West Media was represented by Phanice Pkemei, Thadeus Wachiye and Victoriah Nang’oni who thanked fans who made it to condole with Hon. Mwasame.
