Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka has been urged to equally distribute County Executive jobs across all 9 Constituencies.
Speaking during a funds drive in St Francis Assis Myanga Catholic church in Kimaeti ward, Bumula Constituency, the area MCA Jack Wambulwa told the County boss to appoint a County Secretary from Bumula Constituency since other top jobs were given to other regions adding that the last regime had given them the position therefore should not be taken in another Constituency.
Hon. Wambulwa told all elected leaders to unite and work together for development purposes because of their electorates.
His sentiments were echoed by Kabuchai MP Majimbo Kalasinga who stood his ground and said despite him being in Kenya Kwanza he can’t clap for the government but will continue pushing it to initiate projects for the benefit of his people as he told other leaders to also stop singing the government’s tune.
He appreciated local stations mostly West Media Directors for having an idea of coming up with stations closer to residents that air local news and run programmes more so in local languages saying the programmes are so educative and have changed the lives of citizens.
Reverend Father Lucas Nandemu during his sermon urged Christians to leave an impact in other people’s lives when in positions.
West Media Company staff led by Head of Programmes Nick Nabangi, John Kabaka and Thadeus Wachiye attended too who passed the company Directors’ regards and good will to Rev.Father Lucas.
The funds drive was meant to purchase a car for Rev. Father Nandemu to help him carry out his mission work easily.
