The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) team conducting the national examination briefings in Nandi has given out a stern warning against cheating, saying if one is found cheating, that particular examination centre will be closed if one is found cheating. The team asked all the examiners to conduct their work diligently.
The briefing exercise which kicked off on Monday has entered its third day today in Aldai constituency. Security officers, centre managers, invigilators, and supervisors are being taken through the rules and regulations in conducting the examinations.
KNEC revealed that Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) rehearsals will be conducted on 29th October 2018, while the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) rehearsals will be done on 2nd November 2018.
The Nandi County Commissioner Mohammed Bare has affirmed security measures are in place to ensure smooth running of the examinations.
