The Kenya National Private Security Workers Union Secretary General (KNPSWU) Isaac Andabwa has appealed to the county government of Kakamega to address the predicament of the security guards at Marakusi dispensary in Lugari Sub County who have not been paid for the past three and a half years.
Speaking when he visited the facility regretted the situation the guards have been subjected to terming it unacceptable.
“These people have families which depend on them. How can you keep them for more than three years without paying them, how do you expect them to survive?” Asked Andabwa.
The secretary general has promised to engage the concerned department and ensure the guards received their dues dating back to December 2018.
