President Dr. William Ruto on Friday appointed former Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communications and Digital Economy Eliud Owalo as Deputy Chief of staff.
Through a statement by the head of Public Service Felix Koskei, he said the appointment of Owalo, aims to achieve the evaluation and implementation of government projects in line with the plan to strengthen the economy.
President Ruto also appointed the former Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria as the Chief adviser in the Council of economic advisers.
In the appointment, the national leader said that the move intends to improve the implementation of the BETA economic stabilization program implemented by the integrated Council of Ministers.
The President also appointed Dennis Itumbi to head the economic innovation and special projects division in the President’s office.
Itumbi’s appointment aims to boost economic growth.
