Former Director of the Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission PLO Lumumba has urged parents to invest in their kids’ education, noting that quality education is the only worthy legacy a parent can give his or her children.
Lumumba said the government recognizes quality education as a constitutional right for every Kenyan thus every kid should get access to education. “Invest your resources in your children’s education for their betterment of their future,” he affirmed.
The professor, who was addressing parents, teachers, students and education stakeholders during the Third Annual Education Day for Chesumei sub-county in Koitalel Samoei University College in Nandi factored in the importance of focusing on human resource availability than physical facilities and amenities. On the other hand, Chesumei Member of Parliament Wilson Kogo said he is focused on improving education sector and urged all the stakeholders to devote their time to educational matters.
