Lung’aho reappointed as Kenya’s head coach
The Kenya Volleyball Federation on Friday announced that Kenya Prisons head coach David Lung’aho will ressume the position of national team head coach ahead of the forthcoming Olympic qualifiers and World Grand Prix.
Lung’aho who serves as the federation’s technical director will be assisted by Kenya Pipelines Japheth Munala.
The federation has further reinstated experienced stars Janet Wanja and Brackcides Khadambi who missed the team’s action in Cameroon in February.
“We have opted for our best coaches for this two assignments in Puerto Rico (Olympic qualifiers) and Argentina (World Grand Prix). We believe they have good working relations and we look forward to improving on our past performances.” Said KVF Vice President Martin Makokha.
Martin Kimondo has been appointed as the team manager.
