Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has urged residents, youth and women to form productive Saccos and groups in readiness for the disbursement of County trade loans.
Speaking at his Kamukuywa residence, Lusaka expressed his quest to improve livelihoods through community outreach programs.
“We have allocated a budget towards trade loans to empower our people economically. We are soon rolling out, form groups and saccos, work in formidable teams to maximize success.” He said.
Lusaka called for proper utilization of trade loans among residents, noting that it’s a major economic boost.
“Have a master plan as you enroll on the trade loans. Be objective, use it for the intended purpose,” he affirmed.
The County Boss reiterated his commitment to drive the well-being of residents, imploring them to diversify sources of income.
“In your CBOs also embrace farming. Poultry farming is the way to go. There is a lot of demand, my administration will support you fully.” He assured.
