Bungoma Governor Kenneth has assured residents that they will easily access the subsidized fertilizer from the National Government at the ward level.
“We received a consignment of 258,000 bags of subsidized fertilizer for our farmers from the National Government. You can now access it in your wards.” Said Lusaka.
Lusaka observed that lowering the cost of fertilizer from the oppressive 6500 to 2500 will be a relief for farmers.
“Our farm yields will increase tremendously. Farmers should capitalize on this program to enhance food security,” he reiterated.
The Governor reaffirmed his commitment on development, urging the opposition to accord his administration and that of President Ruto ample time to deliver on their bottom up economic transformation agenda.
“We have rolled out numerous projects across. Give us an easy time to deliver,” he noted.
He used the opportunity to invite residents for the inauguration of the Bungoma County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) 2022-2027 on Monday the 14th August, 2023.
CIDP serves as a comprehensive blueprint for County Governments, offering crucial guidance and streamlined coordination for all developmental endeavors.
Lusaka spoke at Sikimbilo Catholic Church Bokoli Ward, Webuye West Sub County during a Sunday service where he gave a personal donation of KSh 100,000 and 100,000 bags of cement towards the infrastructural development of the church.
