A sombre mood engulfed Namwesi village of Lwandanyi ward in Sirisia constituency during the burial of the late Rhoda Nasipwodi Wamukekhe, mother to EACC chairman Eliud Wabukala.
Addressing mourners, Wabukala recounted how his late mother helped groom their family in in unity and prayers saying she was very hard-working.
He said that his mother enjoyed good health since she was born, adding that despite losing her mother at a tender age of three years she never relented in life and was always committed in whatever she did, values that have since been passed to all her children. “Mum we have lost you, through you we are well educated may God rest you in eternal peace,” he said.
He however urged residents to embrace the church saying it lays a strong foundation in them.
Sirisia MP John Waluke took the opportunity to assert his commitment to continue pursuing development projects in the constituency especially in the education sector. He further urged the residents to support the national government in it’s implementation of projects including the Big Four agenda.
