Man detained by a Vihiga Court for defiling a minor

A middle aged man was forcefully detained by Vihiga Law Courts for failing to raise a bond of Ksh 200,000 after defiling a 15 year old minor.

Reuben Omulama is believed to have defiled the minor at Kasaya Village in Luanda Sub County 28^th February this year.

Magistrate Jacinta Orwa ordered the detainment of the accused until when his case will be mentioned on 28^th this month.

In the same court Jacqueline Sayo was charged for assaulting Mr. Brian Magala on 2^nd March this year at Kegoye Village Vihiga Sub County.

The accused attacked Mr. Magala with a machete leaving him with serious injuries.

Sayo was released on Ksh 20,000 bond and a cash bail of Ksh 10,000.

The case will be mentioned on 15^th this month and be heard on 30^th April this year.
