Pogba sent Man Utd at the top of the table again after his superb strike against Fulham in the 65th minute of the game. The home side had taken an early lead after Ademola Lookman’s goal in the 5th minute before Edinson Cavani responded with an equalizer in the 21st minute.
The Reds had created more chances before halftime but headers from Maguire and Martial both went off target sending both teams to a draw at half time.
At the beginning of the second half, Fulham came back energized and aggressive before Paul Pogba thwarted their efforts in the 65th minute by sending in a second goal that put United straight ahead.
Manchester United now move back at the top of the table with 40 point followed by Manchester City with 38 point and a game in hand then Leicester in the 3rd position with 38 points respectively.
