After making his debut on Saturday 16 January for new Serie B club Latina in a 1-0 win over Novara, Kenyan midfielder Mc-Donald Mariga followed it up with a full game on Saturday as Latina shocked hosts Trapani 2-1 at the Polisportivo Provinciale Stadium.
The visiting Latina had to rally from behind having gone down to a Matteo Scozzarella penalty in just the fourth minute of the game.
Chiari born Luigi Alberto Scaglia brought Latina level at the stroke of half time after Trapani keeper Nicolas Andrade failed to deal with a free kick.

Daniele Corvia scored the winning goal for Latina on the 69th minute after he outwitted his marker to beat Trapani keeper.
The win sees Latina rise up the 22-team log to settle at 15th place with 25 points moving within four points of the 11th placed Trapani.
In the previous game against Novara Mariga featured in the last 19 minutes when he replaced Nicolao Dumitru in the 71st minute.
A full game under new Coach Mario Somma is a morale booster for the Kenyan midfield kingpin who had stayed without a club since the close of last season while he turned out for Parma.
He picked his first yellow at the club – in the 24th minute after a challenge on Brazilian Coronado.
