Few days after the Deputy President William Ruto toured Bungoma County, political activist Wafula Masoni has applauded Webuye East Constituency residents for turning up in large numbers to welcome the DP and participate in the fundraising event that took place at Sinoko Primary School.
He added that education is the key to success and whoever wants to lead a good and reputable life should have education. “I always support education fully because through this, poverty shall be eradicated and the number of dependents will reduce, more so, for a region to prosper education should be given prioritized, therefore I would like to thank all people from this region who came and participated in the fundraising that was held in our school, Sinoko,” said Masoni.
He also urged the residents of Webuye East to put aside other party issues and join the Jubilee party since that’s where their problems will be solved.
“My people, let us all support Jubilee party because it is the ruling party and come 2017 it will be the same party that will form the government, therefore, don’t allow anybody to lie on you,” affirmed Masoni.
“If you go fishing will you lay your bait in a pond that does not have any fish? Of course, you can’t, therefore if you want fish, place your bait in the pond that has fish and this is none other than Jubilee party,” he stated
Masoni further thanked the DP for having accepted the offer of coming to Bungoma County specifically in Sinoko Secondary School and said that the money raised will be used to upgrade the school.
“I take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the DP for coming in our school and enabled us to raise money that we will use to construct classrooms and upgrade those that were in awful condition,” he said.
Over Kshs. 3 Million was raised in Sinoko Secondary School.
