Milima ward member of Bungoma County Assembly elect Jerusa Aleu has assured locals that she will come up with measures to enhance and stabilize agricultural sector among ways that may reduce poverty level in the society.

Speaking to West Media, Aleu said she will come up with measures to reduce the cost of farm inputs,and support farmers that have low income rate in to enable them grow various types of food crops and cash crops.
 
She further pledged that she will always make a follow up to ensure that the roads are in good conditions and medical facilities in her area of jurisdiction are well equipped in order to promote quality medical services to the people of Milima ward.
 
The MCA elect, urged her competitors in the last general elections to join hands and support her in order to realize development and good quality services the residents need. She recently served as a nominated member of Bungoma County Assembly on Ford Kenya party.
 
Aleu has taken over from the incumbent Member of County Assembly Elvis Abuka who was elected in August 8th ,2017 on Ford Kenya ticket, but lost his seat in the past August 9th 2022 general elections.
 
Abuka had joined the Democratic Action Party of Kenya DAP~K, on which he was defending his seat but lost it to the Ford Kenya MCA elect Jerusa Aleu.
