ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi has revealed he wasn’t part of the invited leaders for the now infamous Kajiado meeting that brought together leaders from the former Western Province. The meeting which was held at COTU boss Francis Atwoli’s residence brought together leaders to discuss development and unity for the region, but the underlying premise is believed to be getting a stake in the next government and ongoing new political alignments.

The absence of Mudavadi and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula drew the attention, however, “I can’t tell you anything about that meeting, I can tell you something about the meeting I had with Dr Sally Kosgei, Martha Karua and Peter Kenneth,” he said, when speaking to the press on Saturday.

He highlighted the double standards in play, saying other leaders can meet whoever they want but when it comes to him it raises eyebrows. The ANC party leader has met leaders from different political levels, with discussions ranging from the political status of Kenya, the country’s status affected by the Covid-19 among others.
