ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to sort out issues in the Jubilee government. Speaking on Point Blank, Mudavadi saidPresidentt Kenyatta shouldn’t be reduced to a whistleblower in his own government. His sentiments come in the midst of differing opinions and perceived directions in the Jubilee party, with political differences clearly played out, especially the issue of the war on corruption, with leaders allied to DP William Ruto continuously faulting the whole process. “You can’t be put in a situation where systematically you are now being perceived to be the opposition wing in the Jubilee political party,” said Mudavadi concerning the Presient, adding that he is being pushed to a corner.
He said the Big Four Agenda has stalled, and there are no significant developments in areas like housing, “There is a crisis already in the country and this is a consequence of people who have been pilfering his government.” The ANC leader said it’s not feasible that one and a half years after the general election, there is so much impunity in the party.
On the war on corruption, he said it’s both political and technical and should be dealt with that way. He said technically, bodies like the DCI and DPP need to produce hard evidence to aid in convictions and politically, the
