Kapsabet Boys and Kapsabet girls High schools have posted a mean score of 11.15 and 10.89 respectively on the just released Kenya Certificate of Secondary education results 2015 that were released by Education Cabinet secretary Dr. Fred Matiangi.
The schools principal , Mr Isaack Maiyo of Kapsabet Boys and Mrs. Susan Chelang’a of Kapsabet Girls while addressing the press at their schools after the release said, they are tremendously happy with the results the schools posted saying the candidates tried and as teachers together with the stake holders will work it again to set their target.
They said their secrets behind their good achievements is through hard work, team work and passion to teach applauding the fruitful efforts made by the staff in enhancing excellent results.

Kapsabet Boys High school had a total of 242 candidates who sat for the exams this year and posted a mean of 11.15 which was a great improvement compared to that of last year 2014 which was 11.125 .
Kapsabet Girls with 177 candidates posted a mean of 10.89 compared to that of 2014 which was 10.395 thus the two schools registered a great improvement.
Kapsabet Boys had 70 A’s, 143 A-‘s, 23 B+’s and 1 B – while Kapsabet girls had 38 A’s, 91 A-‘s, 40 B+’s, and 8 B’s respectively.
Other schools which were on streets celebrating their victory includes Namgoi Mixed Day School which posted a mean score of 6.5 compared to 6.3 of 2014, Meteitei Boys 10.0 compared to that of 2014 which was 9.8 and Samoei Boys which had a mean of 10.01 as compared to 9.3 of 2014.
