The Nandi County Director of Education Lawrence Karuntimi has affirmed that the Education Ministry has put in place plans to enhance the management of Kenya Certificate of Secondary education (KCSE) in all the schools.
He has urged candidates to uphold transparency adding that there is nothing to worry about. He said the weather is good, given that in the just concluded KCPE exams accessibility proved a challenge for some schools due to bad weather, “So far the weather is good as it was during the KCPE exam, so we don’t expect major shifts but if there is am sure all exam centres in the County will still be accessed,” he said.
Nandi County has a total of 14,941 KCSE candidates in 239 exam centres. Moreover. an 18-year-old Kapchechui girls secondary school candidate is set to do her exam in hospital after giving birth at the Kapsabet referral hospital.
