Preparations for the national exams are done and dusted in Nandi County according to the County Director of Education Mr. Lawrence Karuntimi. The Education Director has said the needed requirements including transportation logistics and security are in place and what’s remaining is the exam commencement.
He added that KCPE and KCSE supervisors have been assigned to various schools across the County, adding that the expectations are good, “The County has never experienced exam malpractice cases in recent times so we expect all will be well.”
He urged candidates to adhere to the rules and regulations outlined by KNEC, and that exam cheating won’t be allowed added to the fact that stringent measures have been put in place to curb any irregularities. Nandi County has a total of 26,322 registered KCPE candidates in 810 examination centres and 14,941 KCSE registered candidates in 239 examination centres.
