The County government of Nandi through its Ministry of Roads and Infrastructure has embarked on the task of opening up roads in urban centers. Nandi Governor Stephen Sang who spoke during the opening up of newly refurbished roads in Nandi hills constituency, cited that his administration is fully working on roads across Nandi to ease transportation services and enable the farmers’ produce to reach the market on time. “We as the Nandi government through the docket of roads and infrastructure are opening up urban centers’ roads for the purpose of raising economic stability and growth,” he affirmed.
The Governor inspected the recently concluded graveled, graded roads in Olessos town and he lauded the contractor on the site for doing a wonderful job. The opening up of roads comes barely two days after the opening of Olessos market which will provide economic opportunities not only in the region but from traders across Nandi and its environs.
