The County government of Nandi has improved the terms of County employees through the renewal of contracts. Speaking during the County staff prayer meeting, Governor Sang cited that in order to boost service delivery to the residents, the County government decided to improve the terms of the County employees, and offer three-year contracts to the initial one-year contracts.
Governor Sang issued contract letters to 1,300 employees whose contracts had expired urging them to work tirelessly to ensure service delivery is achieved. “I have awarded contract letters to the county employees whose one year contract had ended,” he said. He urged the employees to perform well now that their terms had been improved to facilitate the accomplishment of the transformational agenda. He revealed that Nandi County so far isn’t lagging in the development agenda as the availing of health services, which is the priority, has improved tremendously.
Some of the employees who got the opportunity to speak with West Media lauded the efforts of the Governor in pursuing his transformational agenda which has resulted in more development in the region, especially in the health and infrastructure sectors.
