Nandi Governor Stephen Sang has revealed that his administration is working closely with the judiciary in ensuring justice services are brought closer to the public.
Speaking in Kapsabet during the official opening of the Kapsabet high court sub-registry, Sang cited that they are partnering with the judiciary in bringing services closer to people and that they have set aside land for the construction of a High Court in the region.
He cited that the judiciary is the only source of hope in ensuring justice prevails thus urged the judges to stand firm against political influences.
“We have seen huge political influences against government agencies that should be independent in their work thus judiciary should be the only hope if such acts continue.” He affirmed.
The Eldoret presiding high court judge Hon Lady Justice Hellen Omondi who was present during the event, said the judiciary’s vision is to ensure every person gets access to justice in a simplified way without much difficulty thus will exercise its democratic right as a court without any political influences.
