Nandi County has a total of 4 Covid-19 cases so far, after 2 new cases were announced on Saturday. County Health CEC Ruth Koech said the first case was a truck driver, while the second was also a truck driver who had come from Busia County. The third patient is a 24-year-old from Tinderet while the fourth patient is a 26-year-old traveler who came from Nairobi to Tinderet.
The County Health CEC said all patients are being monitored and are receiving treatment in isolation centres as contact tracing goes on. She added that the County government of Nandi has set up more measures to curb the spread of the Coronavirus urging residents to continue upholding the directives from the Ministry of Health to stay safe.
