Nandi hills based business man Robert Chepkwony alias” Fifty Fifty” has called upon all the political leaders from across the region to come out strongly and support needy students achieve their educational dreams.
Speaking in Kibogi village, Chebarus location in Nandi hills constituency where he had visited one vulnerable family with an aim of sponsoring secondary education for one child, Chepkwony cited that giving back to the society is a noble course that every human being should embrace urging the political class to lead as an example.
Chepkwony who has been supporting this noble work from across Nandi revealed that he is not doing it because he is interested in any political seat but because he was once a beneficiary of the Harambees.
“I know what it means to come from a poor family background and that is what has touched me so much to offer a helping hand.” He stated
The business man paid full school fees for the whole year for Brian Kipchumba 16, who despite acquiring admission letter from Terige Boys High School two years ago, failed to join the institution due to his poor family background which could not raise the amount of fees required thus prompting him to stay at home for that long.
Kipchumba is now secure after joining the school courtesy of the Good Samaritan who has offered to pay for his high school fees for the four years thus will achieve his educational dreams which had been shuttered.
The student is aspiring to become an engineer in future therefore promised to work hard to achieve his dream.
