Nandi County Health CEC Ruth Koech has urged residents from across Nandi to take part in a voluntary blood donation exercise that is ongoing in Nandi Hills sub county. Koech said the exercise is conducted in different areas across Nandi Hills Constituency and she urged people to turn up in large numbers.
The exercise kicked off on Monday, 7th December at Nandi bears club and will continue till the 11th of December, with the following dates and locations scheduled; 9th December at Taito dispensary, 10th December at Emrok dispensary, 11th December at the Nandi Hills doctors scheme which is opposite Nandi primary school.
The CEC has revealed that the exercise is being conducted by the County ministry of health in collaboration with other bodies, noting that there is a shortage of blood in hospitals.
