Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei has lauded the move by the Members of the County Assembly of Nandi to adopt the ad hoc committee report on theft and loss of public property in the education and transport dockets.
Speaking to the press in Kapsabet, Cherargei said that the MCAs did their part and urged want the Nandi Governor to effect the recommendations immediately. “As a Senator, I want to see the recommendations effected,” he said.
He said the ad hoc committee report established that the County executive and other County staff are prone to incompetence, abuse of office, gross misconduct, breach of the procurement laws, usurping of powers, insubordination and failure to protect public property thus the culprits must go home.
