Nandi Senator Samson Cherargey has broken out his silence and strongly opposed the issue of parties zoning saying it is a bad culture for democracy in the country.
Addressing journalists in Kapsabet, Cherargey cited that the idea is a bad culture for democracy of this nation and wished if there could be negotiations and agreements as opposed to zoning.
He revealed that the agreement on where some parties should run in a region are finger prints of the coalition agreement and in case of a third party now, it depends on what the agreement was between all the parties that are within that particular coalition and other coalitions.
“At the end of the day, the finger prints will only be provided according to what is in the details of coalition agreement.” He added.
