The heartbreaking news, delivered by Speaker of the National Assembly, the Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Moses F.M. Wetang’ula, detailed the tragic incident that occurred along Ngong Road on Wednesday evening, April 30th, 2025.
According to the notification, Hon. Ong’ondo Were succumbed to fatal injuries after being shot at close range by two assailants on a motorcycle. The news has sent shockwaves through the political landscape and the nation at large.
