Kenya Kwanza women leadership from North Rift region have come out strongly and condemned the chaos that erupted at Jacaranda grounds during the clash between Kenya Kwanza and Azimio supporters saying the government should take action to all the perpetrators.
Speaking during a meeting in Eldoret that brought together all the UDA women leadership from the region led by Nandi Deputy Governor Dr. Yulita Cheruiyot strongly condemned the ugly incident demanding for the immediate sanctions against the goons who disrupted the Deputy President’s rally at Jacaranda grounds.
The furious women cited that such ugly incidents puts the country at risk especially this time when the country is heading to the General Elections asking the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to swiftly take action to the suspects of the chaos.
They lamented that some of the politicians have been using youths to disrupt their opponents meetings/rallies which is not good calling upon all the politicians to exercise political tolerance and respect each other.
“It is a responsibility of every Kenyan to preach peace and exercise political tolerance irrespective of their political differences,” Cheruiyot added.
They urged the police to be neutral in their work and find out who is responsible in using youths politically to disrupt their opponents’ rallies.
The jacaranda ground chaos erupted when the Azimio and Kenya Kwanza supporters clashed witnessing violent confrontation that took the police hand in using teargas.
