Youths from North Rift region and the country at large, have been asked to shun away from cartels who cheat the public that they have powers to employ when it comes to military recruitment.
This is according to the Police Commissioner Lilian Kianda who asked the youths and all potential candidates to shun offering bribes during any recruitment exercise.
Kianda who was speaking during a youth sensitization forum in North Rift ahead of the National police service recruitment on 24th March, 2022 said the process will be free, fair and transparent, thus asked them to stop being lured into shortcuts.
“The process will be free, fair and transparent to everybody don’t follow shortcuts to engage in under hand deals in a bid to join the force.” She affirmed.
The Commissioner revealed that the Kenya Police Service will be conducting the recruitment exercise on Thursday countrywide to employ five thousand men and women to the service.
She further added that the Police force shall deal with cartels cheating the public and purporting to have powers to employ saying the sector is working out on the reforms.
