Nzoia Sugar FC are ready to hit the ground running after it was revealed that they will be able to host their Kenyan Premier league matches at Sudi Stadium in Bungoma County. Kanduyi Stadium and Mumias Sports Complex in Mumias will chip in, if need be, with the battle for Western Kenya football supremacy set to kick off. Nzoia FC, who were promoted from the Football Kenya Federation NSL will use the ground for their home matches.
The club has acquired the services of seven new players, as they shape up for the new season, and the team coach Bernard Mwalala is confident it will offer a new challenge for the team.
The team, which has a large following from Western Kenya, especially Bungoma County, waltzed through the National Super League, losing only two matches out of 38 to emerge winners, earning a promotion as a result.
