Claims by Kenya Kwanza leaders from Western led by ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi that Azimo Presidental candidate  has been trading with Luhyia community to join government and abandon the tribe have been rubbished by Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya .

Oparanya said that Mudavadi and Senator Moses Wetangula were unjustified to attack Odinga adding that the former Prime Minister helped them ascend to ministerial positions but they never used the positions to help the community.

Addressing the Press at Bukhungu stadium after distributing wheelchairs and other devices to disabled persons, Oparanya said Mudavadi and other Luhya politicians should be grateful to Odinga as he picked most of them from dust.

He noted that Odinga appointed the highest number of leaders from the region to cabinet positions when he shared the government with former President Mwai Kibaki.

Oparanya said Mudavadi and Wetangula have failed the Luhyia community adding that they will be ashamed that Odinga will garner majority votes from the region.
